Job summary

Holmes Murphy in Sioux Falls, SD is seeking a Client Service Specialist to join our Property Casualty team. You will prepare certificates, binders, and auto ID cards, and ensure accurate invoicing while coordinating with accounting to resolve discrepancies.

The role emphasizes delivering a world-class client experience, prioritizing tasks, and applying insurance principles to meet client needs. A license in Property Casualty is required or obtainable within three months.

Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma; college degree preferred.
  • Experience: 0-1 year in admin, customer service or office work.
  • Licensing: Active Property Casualty license or ability to obtain within 3 months.

  • Prepares certificates, binders, and auto ID cards.
  • Invoices agency bill transactions for new/renewal policies and installments.
  • Ensures invoicing accuracy and works with accounting to resolve discrepancies.
  • Orders policy changes, updates management system, and sets follow-ups.
  • Investigates and corrects omitted items and commission differences.

Job description

Job Description: We are looking to add a Client Service Specialist to join our Property Casualty team in Sioux Falls, SD . Offering a forward-thinking, innovative, and vibrant company culture, along with the opportunity to share your unique potential, there really is no place like Holmes!

Essential Responsibilities
  • Prepares certificates, binders, and auto ID cards.
  • Invoice agency bill transactions for new and renewal policies, monthly installments, endorsements, and audits.
  • Ensure accuracy of invoicing and work with accounting to resolve any discrepancies.
  • Order policy changes from carriers, update agency management system/exposure schedules and set follow-up tasks.
  • Investigates and corrects omitted items and commission differences on premium discrepancies (policies, audits and endorsements)
Qualifications
  • Education: High school diploma; college degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 0-1 year of administrative, customer service, or office experience, preferably in the insurance industry.
  • Licensing: Active state specific Property Casualty Insurance agent's license required or the ability to acquire license within three months of hire.
  • Technical Competencies: Invests in understanding and applying insurance principles to consult with clients and meet their strategic needs. Actively contributes to workflows, processes, and deliverables, using agency systems to provide a world-class client experience and ensure compliance. Able to understand clients, prioritize tasks, manage status, and deliver impactful solutions proactively.
