Job summary

Arnot Ogden Medical Center is seeking a Client Service Representative to handle incoming and outgoing calls, support patient and community needs, and maintain documentation within Health on Demand. You will ensure excellent service and communication between patients, families, healthcare providers, and community partners.

The role requires a High School diploma, with preferred clerical experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. HIPAA confidentiality is essential.

Responsibilities

• Answer and direct incoming calls, accurately assess caller needs, and transfer to the appropriate resources.
• Handle inbound and outbound calls for program registrations, appointment reminders, surveys, and community information requests.
• Maintain proficiency in required computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite and clinical information systems.
• Support physician offices, patients, and outside answering services, ensuring professional communication and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA.
• Oversee the complaint handling process, including documentation, follow-up, and report preparation.
• Track call volumes, invoices, and revenue for revenue-producing functions such as answering services and reminder programs.
• Prepare reports and maintain databases to support internal analysis and planning.

You will play a key role in ensuring excellent service and communication between patients, families, healthcare providers, and community partners.

• Handle inbound and outbound calls for program registrations, appointment reminders, surveys, and community information requests
• Maintain proficiency in required computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite and clinical information systems
• Support physician offices, patients, and outside answering services, ensuring professional communication and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA
• Oversee the complaint handling process, including documentation, follow-up, and report preparation
• Track call volumes, invoices, and revenue for revenue-producing functions such as answering services and reminder programs

Minimum Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent required

Preferred Qualifications

Minimum three years of clerical experience in a hospital, healthcare, patient care, ambulatory, or medical practice setting preferred

Strong proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office Suite
