Job summary

Animal Doctors of South Tampa is seeking a friendly, organized Client Service Representative to join our busy veterinary hospital. We provide wellness and vaccination care, urgent and critical care, dentistry, and surgeries, with you as a first contact to create a positive experience for pets and families.

This full-time role requires Monday–Friday hours with a rotating Saturday schedule. You will greet clients, answer phones, schedule appointments, process payments, and support the medical team

Qualifications

• Previous veterinary reception experience or veterinary customer service is required.
• Able to work rotating Saturdays.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Comfortable in a busy, fast-paced environment.
• Strong organization and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask while staying positive and professional.
• Comfortable learning and using veterinary software.

Responsibilities

• Welcome clients and their pets with a friendly, professional attitude.
• Answer phones and respond to client questions and requests.
• Gather accurate patient history and communicate with the medical team.
• Schedule and coordinate appointments and follow-up care.
• Provide clear discharge and follow-up instructions to clients.
• Process payments, financing, and other transactions accurately.
• Maintain accurate client and patient information in the practice management system.
• Send appointment reminders and follow-up communications.
• Make outbound calls to reconnect with overdue clients for care.
• Educate clients about preventive care and available resources.
• Help maintain a clean, organized reception area.
• Collaborate with the veterinary team to keep patient flow moving smoothly.

Animal Doctors of South Tampa is looking for a friendly, organized, and compassionate Client Service Representative (CSR) to join our team! We are a busy walk-in veterinary hospital serving the Tampa Bay area, providing wellness and vaccination care, urgent and critical care, dentistry, and a variety of surgeries. As one of the first points of contact for our clients, you will play an important role in creating a positive experience for both pets and their families. If you enjoy working with people, love animals, and can stay calm and organized in a fast-paced environment, we'd love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome clients and their pets with a friendly, professional attitude
• Answer phones and respond to client questions and requests
• Gather accurate patient history and information and communicate appropriately with the medical team
• Schedule and coordinate appointments and follow-up care
• Provide clients with clear discharge and follow-up instructions
• Process payments, financing, and other transactions accurately
• Maintain accurate client and patient information in our practice management system
• Send appointment reminders, confirmations, and follow-up communications
• Make outbound calls to help reconnect with clients who are overdue for care
• Educate clients about preventive care, hospital services, and available resources
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area
• Work closely with our veterinary team to keep patient flow moving efficiently
• Assist with other hospital and client-service needs throughout the day

Qualifications

• Previous veterinary reception, veterinary customer service, healthcare reception, or similar experience required
• Able to work rotating Saturdays
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environment
• Strong organization and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask while maintaining a positive and professional attitude
• Comfortable learning and using computer systems and veterinary software
• Compassionate and comfortable communicating with clients who may be stressed or emotional
• A genuine love for animals and interest in veterinary medicine
• High school diploma or equivalent
