Job summary

Ethos Veterinary Health's Advanced Veterinary Specialists in Santa Barbara is seeking a Client Service Coordinator to be the first point of contact for pet owners and support the daily front desk operations.

This full-time role offers weekend and some holiday availability, pays $18.00–$25.00 per hour DOE, and involves coordinating appointments, entering medical records, processing payments, and delivering compassionate client service in a fast-paced specialty and emergency hospital.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of customer service experience; veterinary hospital or animal healthcare experience preferred.
• At least 1 year of receptionist/front desk experience.
• Excellent communication, customer service, organization, and multitasking skills.
• Strong computer and data-entry skills; maintain accurate electronic medical records.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to type at least 45 WPM and use a 10-key calculator.
• Maintain professionalism, compassion, and organization in fast-paced veterinary environment.

Responsibilities

In Your Day-to-Day, You Will

• Welcome clients and pets while providing compassionate, professional customer service.

What You Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of customer service experience; veterinary hospital or animal healthcare experience strongly preferred.
• At least one year of receptionist, hospitality, front desk, or other client-facing experience.
• Excellent communication, customer service, organization, and multitasking skills.
• Strong computer and data-entry skills with the ability to maintain accurate electronic medical records.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to type at least 45 WPM and use a 10-key calculator.
• Ability to remain professional, compassionate, and organized in a fast-paced specialty and emergency veterinary environment.
