Job summary

CASE - Colorado Animal Specialty & Emergency is seeking a Client Service Representative in Boulder, CO. You will greet clients, check in for appointments, and support a busy hospital team with compassion.

The role requires delivering exceptional customer service, coordinating admissions, and assisting with routine front desk duties in a 24/7 emergency setting. Weekend work is required; compensation ranges from $19–$21 per hour.

Qualifications

  • Fluent English skills (speaking & reading) required.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to multi-task and produce quality work while making decisions.
  • Provide high quality customer service to clients.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high quality customer service to clients in lobby.
  • Facilitate admission of patients.
  • Support doctors and staff as needed.
  • Assist with euthanasia paperwork and compassionate service to owners.
  • Collect deposits for appointments and procedures.
  • Communicate patient progress/owner updates to clients in the lobby.
  • Answer questions from clients in the lobby.
  • Schedule future appointments and follow-ups.
  • Sign in visitors and vendors.
  • Look for ways to improve service delivery with respect and compassion.
  • Assist with onboarding and daily front desk duties (cleaning, supplies).
  • Maintain coffee and supplies for client use.
  • Work nights, weekends, holidays as needed in a 24/7 emergency hospital.

  • Full Time: 4 x 10 Hour Shifts or 5 x 8 Hour Shifts; Weekends Required

Job Description

In this role you will be the face of CASE for clients as they are checking in for appointments, waiting in the lobby and discharging, and a crucial member of our hospital team.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high quality customer service that meets or exceeds the expectations of our clients
  • Facilitate admission of patients
  • Support the doctors and support staff as needed
  • Assist with euthanasia paperwork and provide compassionate service to owners suffering from loss and grief
  • Collect deposits for appointments and procedures
  • Communicate patient progress/owner updates to clients in the lobby
  • Answer questions clients may have while in the lobby
  • Schedule future appointments/follow up as needed
  • Sign in visitors and vendors
  • Look for ways to continually improve the delivery of services to our clients to ensure that clients are treated with respect and compassion
  • Assist with basic onboarding and introductory training of new team members; daily cleaning of front desk/lobby area – wipe down surfaces, sweep lobby, etc.
  • Maintain coffee and supplies for client use
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays as needed to fit the needs of a 24/7 emergency veterinary hospital
