Holmes Murphy in Omaha, NE is offering a Summer 2027 Client Service Internship (onsite) designed to immerse students in the insurance industry through a hands-on, 10-week program. Interns rotate through Brokerage Services to broaden their perspective and gain practical insights.

Responsibilities include assisting with client relationships, day-to-day service needs, and supporting the sales and services teams with marketing materials, meetings, and presentations, while engaging with industry

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled or in pursuit of enrollment at a 4-year institution.
• Majors include Business Administration, Finance, Sales, Entrepreneurship, Marketing, Health Promotion, Risk Management & Insurance.
• Prior work experience is a plus, preferably in a customer service or administrative role.

• Assisting in ensuring clients receive timely and accurate information
• Assisting the sales and services teams with marketing of new and renewal business to include gathering needed information
• Assisting the sales and service teams with preparation & creation of materials for presentations
• Attending client meetings
• Assisting in supporting the sales team by delivering on agreements made during the sales process
• Additional duties as assigned

What is our Client Service Internship? Our Client Service Interns rotate through our Brokerage Services teams throughout the summer to broaden their perspective of Holmes Murphy and the insurance industry (where available based on geography). Our Client Service Team focuses on client retention and satisfaction.

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
