SUMMARY OF JOB PURPOSE AND FUNCTION

The Client Service Coordinator ("CSC") drives the flow of clients and pets through the hospital, maximizes the productivity of the veterinary medical team, ensures effective communication with clients and associates, and coordinates the care of clients and pets in a friendly, welcoming, and efficient manner. The role aims to encourage client retention and referrals.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS

  1. Live and exemplify the Five Principles of Mars, Inc. within self and team.
  2. Actively recruit new clients by promoting hospital services and managing client and pet flow to ensure excellent client care and team productivity.
  3. Maximize the number of pets seen by the hospital team through efficient hospital operations, supporting wellness plan clients.
  4. Provide professional, efficient, and exceptional service at all times, including welcoming clients and pets, ensuring their comfort, and educating them about pet health.
  5. Educate clients about Optimum Wellness Plans, preventative care, pet health needs, and hospital services.
  6. Assist incoming clients with documentation, entering pet information and history, and ensuring prompt service.
  7. Assist outgoing clients by providing instructions, invoices, dispensing prescriptions, selling retail products, and scheduling future appointments.
  8. Manage finances by maintaining accurate balances and following proper opening and closing procedures.
  9. Conduct administrative functions as needed.
  10. Perform other duties as assigned.
