Client Service Associate - Wealth Management
We are seeking a proactive and detail‑oriented Client Service Associate to support one to two Financial Advisors within our firm. This client‑facing role is essential to ensuring a high level of service and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will thrive in a professional, fast‑paced environment and enjoy contributing to the success of a small, collaborative advisory team.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for day‑to‑day client service requests and inquiries.
- Prepare and process new account paperwork, account transfers, money movement requests, and other custodial transactions.
- Support advisors in preparing materials for client meetings, including investment reports and financial planning documents.
- Maintain and update client records in the CRM and custodial platforms with a high level of accuracy.
- Liaise with custodians and internal departments to ensure timely resolution of account issues.
- Assist with onboarding new clients by guiding them through account setup, documentation, and system access.
- Ensure all activities adhere to compliance standards and firm policies.
- Collaborate with the Client Service and Operations teams to improve efficiency and enhance the overall client experience.
- Provide administrative support to advisors, including scheduling, correspondence, and follow‑up.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience in financial services, preferably within a wealth management or investment advisory firm.
- Strong understanding of investment account types (IRAs, trusts, brokerage accounts, etc.) and custodial processes.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with CRM and portfolio management systems (e.g., Salesforce, Redtail, Orion, or Tamarac) is a plus.
- Series 65, 7, or 63 licenses are preferred or the willingness to obtain them.
