Job summary

National Bank of Arizona in Deer Valley is seeking a seasoned Client Service Associate (Teller) to join our team. You will process debit and credit transactions, open accounts, and assist clients with a variety of banking services while maintaining accuracy and compliance.

The role emphasizes helping customers reach their financial goals, cross-selling bank products, and delivering friendly, bilingual service where English and Spanish are preferred. Open until filled.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and some cashiering, customer service, balancing or other related experience.
• Basic knowledge of math, cashiering, balancing, debits, credits, bank products and/or banking.
• Ability to cross-sell bank products based on client's needs.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish languages, is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process debit and credit transactions in compliance with policies and procedures, maintaining a balancing record.
• Identify and address clients' needs by providing services such as opening new accounts, issuing checks, performing account maintenance, ATM card activation, transfers, checks orders, and loan payments.
• Resolve clients’ problems directly or by referral to appropriate resources.
• Identify and maximize cross-sell opportunities through client needs assessment.
• Other duties as assigned.

Essential Functions:

• Responsible for accurately processing debit and credit transactions in compliance with established policies and procedures, while maintaining an acceptable balancing record.
• Identifies and addresses clients' needs by providing a variety of services which may include opening new accounts, issuing counter checks, performing account maintenance, issuing/activation ATM cards, performing money transfers, ordering checks, receiving loan payments, etc.
• Resolves clients’ problems either through direct personal action or referral to alternative branch or bank resources.
• Identifies and maximizes cross-sell the banks' opportunities through exploring needs.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent and some cashiering, customer service, balancing or other related experience.
Schedule: Monday – Friday: 8:30 A.M. – 5:15 P.M.; 40 hrs./wk.

• Basic knowledge of math, cashiering, balancing, debits, credits, bank products and/or banking.
• Must have solid balancing and customer service skills.
• Ability to cross-sell bank products based on client's needs.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish languages, is preferred.

Pay range: $17.00 – $21.75 per hour, depending on experience.
