Job summary

Holmes Murphy & Associates seeks a Client Service Consultant to join the Architects & Engineers team across Peoria, IL; Waukee, IA; Kansas City, MO; or Madison, WI. You will lead client meetings and manage accounts from start to finish, with support for more complex cases as needed.

You will market renewals, negotiate with underwriters, and prepare proposals while ensuring data accuracy and compliance. A strong customer service background is essential.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma; college degree preferred.
• Experience: Minimum 5+ years of customer service experience, underwriting or risk management in the insurance industry.
• Licensing: Active state specific Property Casualty Insurance agent’s license required or the ability to acquire license within three months of hire.
• Technical: Applies insurance principles to consult with clients and meet strategic needs; uses agency systems to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Attend carrier meetings and lead client meetings as required.
• Manage accounts from start to finish with possible support for larger accounts.
• Consult with team for pre-renewal meetings and development of client opportunities.
• Market renewal policies and negotiate with underwriters.
• Review quotes for accuracy and prepare proposal documents for clients.
• Ensure all client information and carrier documents are accurate and current.
• Prepare client renewal documents and save to agency management system.
