Job summary

Global Resource Solutions, Inc. (GRS) seeks a Senior Client/Server Network Architect to design and develop a client/server environment.

Develop strategy and infrastructure to support that strategy, guiding cross-domain and security-conscious networking initiatives. Essential duties include technical leadership across network integration, problem resolution for hardware and systems upgrades, and collaboration with customers, vendors, and staff to define requirements.

Qualifications

• Seven years of related experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a related area or equivalent experience (Four years).
• Current Top Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility.
• Eligibility for access to Special Access Programs.
• Willingness to submit to a Counterintelligence Polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise and assist with network integration and consolidation efforts across multiple network environments.
• Address and resolve complex technical problems relating to installation and upgrade of network hardware and systems.
• Interface with customers, vendors and other technical staff to analyze business and technical requirements.
• Document engineering standards, lead in the development of network architecture and engineering designs and changes.
• Evaluate current and emerging network technologies, conduct technical assessments and make recommendations to the Chief Engineer.
• Perform network modeling, analysis and planning.

Job Description:

Summary:

TheClient/Server Network Architect – Senior will be responsive for design and development of a client/server environment. Develop Strategy of client/server system and the design infrastructure necessary to support that strategy.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide technical expertise and assist with network integration and consolidation efforts across multiple network environments.

Requirement:

• Seven (7) years related experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in a related area or equivalent experience (Four (4) years)

Security Requirements:

Skills:

• Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Windows 2008 R2/2012 R2 Server, Microsoft Exchange Server 2003/2010, Microsoft Windows 7/10 operating systems (OS) administration and associated hardware
• Working knowledge of Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN) technologies and data backup technologies to include communication security (COMSEC) integration
• Working knowledge of Risk Management Framework, , Common Criteria, and System Security Policy as they relate to A&A
• Working knowledge and current relevant experience with PL1 & PL2 systems; experience with PL3 & PL4 cross domain solutions desired
• Must be familiar with current security policy/manuals other guiding policy documents
• Must have the ability to work in a dynamic environment and effectively interact with numerous DOD, military/civilian personnel and industry partners
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
• Possess a high degree of originality, creativity, initiative requiring minimal supervision
• Willingness to travel within the organizational geographic Area of Responsibility (AOR) (note - could be extensive, and will include both air and ground transportation)
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs

Communication:
