Job summary

Targeted Solutions, LLC seeks a Senior Client/Server Network Architect to design and develop a client/server environment. The role advises on technology purchases, sets standards for relational database structures, and guides feasibility analyses for future projects with regards to processing, data storage, and applications development.

Responsibilities include providing technical leadership across multiple networks, resolving complex installation issues, interfacing with customers and vendors,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in real estate area or equivalent experience.
• DoD Directive 8570.01-M IA Technician Level2 certification within 6 months.
• TS/SCI clearance eligibility and counterintelligence polygraph willingness.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise and assist with network integration across multiple environments.
• Resolve complex technical problems related to installation and upgrade of network hardware and systems.
• Interface with customers, vendors and staff to analyze business and technical requirements.
• Document engineering standards and lead development of network architecture and changes.
• Evaluate current and emerging network technologies and advise the Chief Engineer.
• Perform network modeling, analysis and planning.

Top- Level technical expert responsible for design and development ofaclient/serverenvironment. Develops strategy ofclient/server system and the design infrastructure necessary to support that strategy. Advises on selection of technological purchases with regards to processing, data storage, data access, and applications development.Sets standards for theclient/server relational database structure for the organization (SQL, ORACLE, SYBASE, etc.).Advises of feasibility of potential future projects to management.

Performance shall include:

• Providingtechnicalexpertiseandassistwithnetworkintegrationandconsolidationeffortsacrossmultiplenetworkenvironments

• Addressingandresolvingcomplextechnicalproblemsrelatingtoinstallationandupgradeofnetworkhardwareandsystems

• Interfacingwithcustomers,vendorsandothertechnicalstafftoanalyzebusinessandtechnicalrequirements

• Documentingengineeringstandards,leadsinthedevelopmentofnetworkarchitectureandengineeringdesignsandchanges
