Job summary

Global Resource Solutions, Inc. (GRS) seeks a Senior Client/Server Network Architect to lead the design and development of a robust client/server environment. You will craft the strategy and build the infrastructure to support it, coordinating with engineers and program staff.

The role requires seven years of related experience, a Bachelor's degree, and active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility. Excellent communication and the ability to work with DoD and industry partners are essential.

Global Resource Solutions, Inc. (GRS) is seeking an enthusiastic, motivated, detail orientated, and talented individual for the position of Client/Server Network Architect - Senior.

Job Description:

Summary:TheClient/Server Network Architect – Senior will be responsive for design and development of a client/server environment. Develop Strategy of client/server system and the design infrastructure necessary to support that strategy.

• Provide technical expertise and assist with network integration and consolidation efforts across multiple network environments.
• Address and resolve complex technical problems relating to the installation and upgrade of network hardware and systems
• Interface with customers, vendors and other technical staff to analyze business and technical requirements.
• Document engineering standards, lead in the development of network architecture and engineering designs and changes
• Evaluate current and emerging network technologies, conduct technical assessments and make recommendations to the Chief Engineer
• Perform network modeling, analysis and planning

Requirement:

• Seven (7) years related experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in a related area or equivalent experience (Four (4) years)

Security Requirements:

• Current Top Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility
• Eligibility for access to Special Access Programs
• Willingness to submit to a Counterintelligence Polygraph

Skills:

• Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Windows 2008 R2/2012 R2 Server, Microsoft Exchange Server 2003/2010, Microsoft Windows 7/10 operating systems (OS) administration and associated hardware
• Working knowledge of Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN) technologies and data backup technologies to include communication security (COMSEC) integration
• Working knowledge of Risk Management Framework, , Common Criteria, and System Security Policy as they relate to A&A
• Working knowledge and current relevant experience with PL1 & PL2 systems; experience with PL3 & PL4 cross domain solutions desired
• Must be familiar with current security policy/manuals other guiding policy documents
• Must have the ability to work in a dynamic environment and effectively interact with numerous DOD, military/civilian personnel and industry partners
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
• Possess a high degree of originality, creativity, initiative requiring minimal supervision
• Willingness to travel within the organizational geographic Area of Responsibility (AOR) (note - could be extensive, and will include both air and ground transportation)
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs

Communication:
