Job summary

ASK IT Consulting Inc. is seeking a Senior Network Architect/Developer to design and evaluate enterprise network systems and standards. Local candidates preferred and direct-to-vendor W-2/I-9 employment may apply.

You will contribute immediately by identifying issues, proposing policy changes, and supporting critical network services including AD, SQL, and remote access across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Experience managing and supporting Windows Server environments (2008 R2–2016).
• Strong SQL performance/tuning knowledge in a clustered SQL Server setup.
• Experience with Hyper-V, Exchange Online, Office 365 and Azure administration.
• Familiarity with Cisco firewall, routing and switching administration.
• Experience with SharePoint 2013/Online and SAN storage (HP 3Par).

Responsibilities

• Monitor defects and respond to network support requests in the issue-tracking system.
• Provide Tier 3 network support for enterprise systems.
• Manage file and print servers, including security and performance configurations.
• Support SQL databases in a clustered configuration and assist other teams as needed.
• Support core network perimeter hardware and Active Directory management.

Short Description: Senior Network Architect/Developer is responsible for developing new and evaluating existing network systems and standards .

Complete Description: Local candidates preferred.

Candidates need to be W-2 or I-9 directly to the submitting vendor.

Individual will be expected to IMMEDIATELY contribute to the improvement of the existing Enterprise by identifying issues and suggesting policy and procedure improvements to management.

Daily duties in this position will be:

Monitoring our issues tracking system and responding to requests for network support.

Provide Tier 3 network support for all Enterprise systems.

Managing file and print servers, including security, performance, and other configuration changes.

Providing support and administration of SQL databases in a SQL server clustered configuration.

Providing support to other teams (Infrastructure Team and Core Team) as requested.

Providing support for core network perimeter hardware.

Providing support for Active Directory issues and support others in management of users and assets

Providing support for remote users (various methods include , VPN, and FTP processes)

Selected individual will be able to demonstrated experience and knowledge in these critical areas:
