Job summary

Banner Bank is seeking a Client Relationship Consultant to be the welcoming face of the branch, building trusted client relationships and guiding them through banking options and digital tools.

You will help clients with deposits, transfers, and loan payments, while identifying opportunities to expand relationships with Commercial Lending, Treasury Management, Mortgage Lending, and Investment Services.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Entry-level experience in teller, banking, or sales roles with established goals.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Engage clients with exceptional service while supporting a wide range of sales and service activities.
• Process routine financial transactions with accuracy and efficiency, including deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and loan payments.
• Balance your cash drawer with precise currency and coin handling.
• Consult with clients to understand their needs and introduce products, services, and digital banking tools that support their goals.
• Identify opportunities to expand relationships and make referrals to partners across Commercial Lending, Treasury Management, Mortgage Lending, and Investment Services.
• Proactively communicate with clients to educate, resolve concerns, strengthen loyalty, and gather feedback.
• Hold appointments to identify client needs, provide solutions, and support their financial success.
• Open new accounts, maintain existing accounts, and resolve account issues while ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Support branch lending processes by answering questions, completing applications, and preparing accurate documentation.
