Job description

Position Overview:
Benchmark takes pride in providing excellent customer service and the most efficient loan process to borrowers. The Client Relationship Representative/Loan Officer Assistant is an integral part of this process and is responsible for supporting one or more Loan Originators and our Mortgage-as-a-Service (MaaS) client through sales assistance, document collection, and client relationship management.
Ideal candidates for this position have proven customer relationship management skills, a high attention to detail, and proven organizational skills.
Essential Functions of the Role:
  • Provide administrative and sales support to Loan Originators and Client Team.
  • Collect and distribute documents and information pertinent to the processing and underwriting of the loan.
  • Assist Loan Originators and Client Team in managing the pipeline of loan applications.
  • Communicate with applicants on behalf of the Loan Originator/Client Team regarding expectations and loan status.
  • Complete Ordering process for 3rd party services (Appraisal, Hazard Insurance, Flood Cert, Title Work, Survey)
  • Other duties as assigned.

Experience Requirements:
  • Minimum five years residential mortgage experience with Conventional, FHA experience required.
  • VA proficiency preferred.

Education/Licensing Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Fast-paced environment.
  • Requires normal vision (corrected) both close and distant.
  • Requires normal hearing levels (corrected).
  • Requires working at a desk to use a phone and computer for extended periods of time.
  • Requires sitting, bending.
  • Works effectively with frequent interruptions.
