Job summary

The Charles Schwab Corporation in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Client Relationship Specialist with project coordination responsibilities to support service levels, manage client escalations, and drive key initiatives within the Financial Solutions Branch.

You will build strong client relationships, coordinate cross-functional projects, and work closely with Financial Consultants and sales teams to deliver superior client experiences.

Qualifications

• Ability to adapt to changes in the market and business while balancing CRS responsibilities with project work.
• Strong written and oral communication skills with attention to detail.
• Strong project coordination skills to organize work, track progress, follow up on deliverables, and communicate status updates clearly.
• Robust communication, influencing and client engagement skills.
• Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team, while handling multiple tasks.
• Building cross enterprise working relationships.

• Comfort with building repeatable processes, checklists, handoffs, and communication routines.

Responsibilities

• Deliver unparalleled value and provide a positive client experience.
• Manage a case queue with service and research requests ranging from simple to complex.
• Understand regulatory and compliance policies associated with brokerage business and risk mitigation.
• Collaborate with other CRS to support enterprise goals.
• Schedule clients with a consultant for further consultation.
• Partner with Financial Consultants, Investment Consultants, Portfolio Solutions Consultants, leaders, and teams to support sales efforts.
• Identify and manage special projects and one-off needs for FSB priorities.
• Jointly manage project timelines, deliverables, cadence, and follow-through.
• Coordinate communication, sequencing, logistics, and materials for FSB priorities.
• Maintain team communication tools and resources (MS Teams channels, project materials, handoffs).
• Uncover additional business development opportunities.
• Research and resolve operational inefficiencies and identify improvements.
• Utilize business partners to drive scale within our model.
• Handle client escalations with tact and diplomacy.
