Job summary

Paradigm Tax Solutions, located in Bridgewater, NJ, seeks a warm, outgoing Relationship Manager to be the face of the office. You’ll guide clients through the tax process, coordinate with CPAs, and help lead the administrative team with strong organizational skills.

No tax expert required on day one; this role offers growth as you learn tax concepts, with training and a clear path to greater responsibility over time.

Responsibilities

• Build and own client relationships as the first point of contact for clients and CPAs.
• Respond to client questions confidently and escalate to CPAs when needed.
• Learn to prepare tax returns by hand and with OCR-assisted tools.
• Coordinate e-signatures and e-filing to keep returns moving.
• Follow up with clients on portal uploads and missing documents in a friendly way.
• Assist with billing and follow up on outstanding payments.
• Lead and mentor administrative staff, including calendar management and CRM usage.
• Collaborate with CPAs to maintain workloads and priorities.

Role Overview

Are you the kind of person who makes everyone feel welcome the moment they walk in or pick up the phone? We’re looking for a warm, outgoing Relationship Manager to be the face and heartbeat of our Bridgewater, NJ office. You’ll be the first person clients talk to and the one they trust to guide them through the tax process so being organized and detail oriented is also a must. You’ll work closely with our CPAs and other Relationship Managers, help to lead our administrative team, and help keep everything running smoothly.

While tax preparation experience is a plus, you don’t need to be a tax expert on day one. If you’re curious, driven, and excited to learn, we’ll teach you the tax side and give you a clear path to take on more responsibility over time.

What You’ll Do

• Build and own client relationships as their first point of contact and help CPAs by prioritizing incoming client communications
• Answer client questions with confidence and escal ... to our CPAs
• Learn to prepare tax returns by hand and with OCR-assisted tools
• Keep returns moving through the workflow including e-signature coordination and e-filing
• Follow up with clients on portal uploads and missing documents in a friendly and helpful way
• Manage billing and follow up on outstanding payments
• Lead and mentor our administrative team including phone coverage, CRM usage, and calendar management
• Partner with CPAs to keep workloads organized and the right priorities front and center
• Help introduce new technology and tools and contribute to process improvements and special projects
