Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and at least two years of banking experience or equivalent.
• Keyboarding: personal computer and 10-key calculator.
• Good problem-solving skills, decision making, effective communication, prioritization and organization.

Responsibilities

• Provide customers with information about account products and services including ATMs, direct deposit and overdraft protection.
• Process teller transactions accurately (deposits, withdrawals, payments, transfers, check cashing, etc.).
• Open and close accounts in line with procedures to safeguard assets.
• Maintain knowledge of new account opening procedures and assist customers accordingly.
• Cross-sell and market banking products to current and potential customers.
• Answer customer questions by phone and resolve account-related inquiries promptly.
