Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Relationship Banker to engage customers across in-person, appointment, and digital channels, providing trusted guidance on deposits, loans, and services.

You will open new accounts, educate clients on digital self-service tools, and collaborate with branch teams to deliver an excellent client experience.

This role requires NMLS registration and adherence to policies; a high school diploma and customer service experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Typically has less than four years of job-related, retail banking experience or a combination of experience and commensurate training.
• Proven ability to build and foster relationships with clients through proactive outreach and follow up.
• Ability to effectively engage and communicate with clients.
• Thorough knowledge of applicable bank and branch policies, procedures and support systems.
• Proven customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with using and demonstrating digital products and self-service technologies.
• Ability to explore and identify a customer’s true needs while leveraging a digital first mindset.
• Demonstrated basic level of proficiency in making appropriate recommendations that meet customer’s needs both reactively and proactively.
• Experience in the financial services industry preferred.
