Financial Services of America is seeking a Client Relationship Advisor to support the delivery of ongoing financial planning and service coordination. This client-facing role is not a sales position but focuses on ensuring each client feels seen, supported, and prepared for the road ahead.

You’ll bridge between our financial advisors and families, handling follow-up communications, account updates, and service tasks in an in-person setting at our Troy, MI headquarters.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in financial services or client-facing operations.
  • Must hold Series 65 license or willingness to obtain promptly.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and client records.
  • Highly organized and comfortable managing multiple moving parts in a fast-paced environment.
  • Desire to grow professionally, including willingness to pursue applicable licenses (if not already licensed).

Responsibilities

  • Meeting preparation: update client records in ACCESS CRM, prepare financial reports, and organize documents for planning meetings.
  • Client communication: serve as a trusted contact via phone and email for ongoing questions and service needs.
  • Account servicing: manage transfers, withdrawals, and beneficiary updates with internal and third-party systems.
  • Data management: ensure accurate, timely entry of client data and service notes.
  • Service coordination: oversee follow-up tasks and workflows tied to financial, investment, and insurance planning deliverables.
  • Reporting support: prepare investment summaries and financial snapshots for advisor presentations.
  • Compliance awareness: adhere to internal policies and regulatory standards.

We’re currently seeking a Client Relationship Advisor—a client-facing service role designed to support the delivery of ongoing financial planning and operational excellence. This is not a sales position, but a vital part of ensuring every client feels seen, supported, and well-prepared for the road ahead.

About the Role

The Client Relationship Advisor acts as a critical bridge between FSA’s financial advisors and the families they serve. You’ll manage follow-up communications, account updates, and service coordination—ensuring each client continues to receive the personalized attention and care they expect from FSA.

Key Responsibilities
  • Meeting Preparation: Support advisor readiness by updating client records in our custom CRM (ACCESS), preparing financial reports, and organizing documentation for planning meetings.
  • Client Communication: Serve as a trusted point of contact for ongoing questions and service needs—delivering consistent, professional communication via phone and email.
  • Account Servicing: Manage the execution and tracking of transactions like transfers, withdrawals, and beneficiary updates, working with both internal systems and third-party institutions.
  • Data Management: Ensure accurate, timely entry of client data and service notes; help maintain the integrity of our internal systems.
  • Service Coordination: Oversee follow-up tasks, document requests, and workflows tied to financial, investment, and insurance planning deliverables.
  • Reporting Support: Prepare investment summaries and financial snapshots to support advisor presentations.
  • Compliance Awareness: Adhere to internal policies and procedures that meet regulatory and quality standards.
