Nexus Water Group is seeking a dedicated liaison to represent Texas Utilities to builders and developers, aligning with tariffs and contracts. This role coordinates with Customer Service to maintain district needs and ensure timely processing of orders.
The position is primarily based in Sugar Land, TX, with a hybrid schedule (Mon–Fri 8am-5pm); some travel within Texas is required. Strong communication and field coordination are essential for success.
To represent Texas Water Utilities to various types of Builders and/or Developers and act as the liaison between the company and the Customer Service department. To ensure that the Builder and/or Developer needs at Nexus are maintained in accordance with the Tariff and/or development contract in effect.
Primarily based at our Sugar Land, TX office, regular business hours Monday through Friday 8am-5pm. May require overtime, nights and weekends as needed. May require up to 25% travel within the state of Texas. This is a hybrid position working remotely on Monday's and Friday's and in the Sugar Land office Tuesday-Thursday.

Education: Bachelor's Degree (four year college or technical school): Preferred but not required
Experience: Minimum of three years experience, preferably in tapping, service marketing, management, sales or utility operations.
Other Requirements: Work is complex and varied and requires the interpretation of technical and detailed guidelines, policies and procedures; also requires the ability to gather and interpret data involving analysis of several factors. Works independently under general direction; participates in setting work objectives. Requires skills in explanation, persuasion and diplomacy to resolve problems and arrive at decisions with others. Requires ability to follow up with appropriate parties in a timely and professional manner. Work requires walking, climbing, reaching, lifting and carrying to perform inspections and carry out other job related duties at water/wastewater facilities.
Work is performed primarily in a climate controlled office environment. Employee may occasionally be subject to adverse weather and environmental conditions, including temperature extremes, humidity, precipitation; physical hazards from moving machinery, equipment with moving parts, high voltage electrical equipment, hazardous chemicals, and bacteria in wastewater.
