Position Overview
Midlands Financial is seeking a detail-oriented, personable Client Relations Specialist to join our wealth management team. As the primary initial touchpoint for our clients, this entry-level role balances client service excellence with operational support across our Lincoln and Omaha offices. Key Responsibilities
- Client Service & Hospitality: Serve as a welcoming point of contact for high-net-worth clients via phone, email, and in-person visits, ensuring prompt and professional communication.
- Meeting & Calendar Coordination: Coordinate advisor schedules, prepare meeting materials, confirm client review appointments, and assist with post-meeting action items.
- Account Administration Support: Facilitate routine client service requests, including paperwork preparation, address changes, distribution forms, and digital onboarding workflows.
- CRM & Record Maintenance: Accurately update client profiles, communication logs, and task workflows in the firm’s CRM software.
- Office & Operational Logistics: Support day-to-day administrative needs across the Lincoln headquarters and Omaha satellite office, including mail processing, file archiving, and meeting space preparation.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education & Experience: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required. Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, administrative support, or retail banking is a plus.
- Licensing Requirement: Willingness and capability to study for and successfully obtain required securities and/or state industry licenses within 12 months of hire date (study materials and examination sponsorship provided by the firm).
- Communication Skills: Polished verbal and written communication with a high degree of empathy, discretion, and confidentiality.
- Technical Aptitude: Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and the ability to quickly learn CRM systems and wealth management software platforms.
- Work Style: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, proactive problem-solving, and the ability to work independently in a hybrid environment.
Schedule & Location
- Schedule: Part-time hours (approx. 20–25 hours/week), with potential expansion into a full-time role based on performance and licensing progression.
- Work Model: Hybrid flexibility, split between remote work and in-office presence at our primary Lincoln office and Omaha satellite location as needed.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $20,000 – $30,000 annualized (prorated for part-time schedule).
