Within the Client Solutions Group, we develop innovative advertising solutions, including proprietary ad formats, branded content, events, and more. We aim to build strategic partnerships with our clients based on deep insights and creative ideas. We are seeking a dynamic senior sales professional with extensive experience in the following verticals: consumer, finance, auto, travel, and media, to join our Client Partner team.

Responsibilities:

  • Sell multi-platform advertising programs through direct client and agency engagements
  • Provide strategic direction for business growth and data partnerships
  • Build and deepen relationships within the consumer, finance, auto, travel, and media sectors
  • Create customized solutions to generate retained and incremental revenue
  • Identify new opportunities while maintaining existing client relationships
  • Communicate sales plans and progress to management
  • Stay informed about industry trends relevant to your clients
  • Apply entrepreneurial and creative approaches to sales
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams
  • Attend outside business functions and in-person client meetings

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of media sales experience in the relevant categories
  • Extensive relationships at client and agency levels
  • Experience managing multi-million dollar client accounts and expanding business within them
  • Willingness to travel to client locations
  • Strong presentation and relationship-building skills
  • Knowledge of the digital media landscape and market responsiveness
  • Business development skills and self-starting attitude
  • Ability to establish credibility and sell ideas to senior management
  • Goal-oriented work ethic with a track record of meeting targets
  • Desire to manage the full sales cycle
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience selling digital, print, content, audio, and social advertising in the news industry

Compensation and Benefits:

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, pension, 401(k) match, paid time off, parental leave, mental health resources, and more. The salary range is $125,650 - $233,350 USD annually, dependent on experience and qualifications. Bonus or incentive programs may apply, with details discussed during the interview process.
