Role Overview

As a Client Operations & Due Diligence Analyst, you will safeguard the integrity of Experian Credit Services Singapore by conducting comprehensive background checks on potential clients before onboarding. You will follow the Experian Compliance Framework and Standard Operating Procedures to verify information and identify irregularities requiring further investigation.

The ideal candidate is self-driven, accountable, resourceful, and demonstrates initiative. They possess sound judgment, effective communication skills, and strong analytical abilities. Experience in multinational corporations or financial institutions is preferred, especially in fast-paced, challenging environments.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Adhere to Risk/Compliance policies and procedures to complete Client Due Diligence (CDD) checks.
  2. Ensure accurate documentation and collaborate with internal stakeholders for clarification.
  3. Conduct checks via internet search engines and with external stakeholders when verification is needed.
  4. Review gathered information and conduct further clarification as necessary.
  5. Escalate potential issues or red flags for relevant approval as per SOPs.
  6. Document all checks and approvals in detail.
  7. Retain and upload documentation for compliance and audit purposes.
  8. Maintain records of all CDD activities for tracking and periodic review.
  9. Conduct periodic compliance monitoring activities.
  10. Follow up with internal stakeholders for necessary information or documents.

Minimum Requirements

  1. 2-3 years of experience in a corporate environment.
  2. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and internet searches.
  3. Meticulous attention to detail and experience in reviewing information for quality.
  4. Analytical skills to assess information and identify potential issues.
  5. Strong communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
  6. Ability to follow SOPs and processes.
  7. Proven ability to work independently and in teams.
  8. Strong organizational skills.
  9. Highly motivated self-starter capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
  10. Diploma/Degree in Business Administration, Management, or related fields preferred.
  11. Familiarity with Singapore's business landscape is preferred.
