Job description

We are currently seeking candidates for a Client Onboarding & Operations Analyst opportunity with a leading global financial services firm in Boston, MA. The Client Onboarding & Operations Analyst will support institutional client onboarding, account opening, documentation management, and coordination across internal teams. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of experience in client onboarding, investment operations, or middle office functions within financial services.

This is a 12-month contract position paying $30–$35/hour (depending on experience). This role follows a hybrid schedule of 4 days onsite and 1 day working from home per week. Candidates must be available to work onsite 4 days per week in Boston, MA.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate client onboarding and account opening activities.
• Collaborate with Operations, Risk, Compliance, Credit, and AML/KYC teams to address onboarding requirements.
• Track onboarding progress, outstanding documentation, and key deadlines.
• Gather and verify client information, account documentation, and regulatory materials.
• Communicate with clients and internal stakeholders to resolve onboarding issues.
• Generate onboarding status reports and maintain accurate records.
• Assist with account setup and ongoing operational requests.
• Provide additional onboarding and operations support as needed.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in client onboarding, investment operations, middle office, or related financial services roles.
• Experience with institutional client onboarding, account opening, or financial services operations.
• Familiarity with AML/KYC procedures and compliance documentation.
• Exposure to capital markets, derivatives, securities financing, or prime brokerage preferred.
• Understanding of OTC derivatives and collateral management is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
