Job summary

Deluxe is seeking a part-time Compliance Analyst in the Sacramento area to review alerts, conduct investigations, and support ongoing monitoring for money-laundering risks. You will document decisions thoroughly and assist with periodic KYC/KYB risk assessments and audits.

The role requires an associates degree and 3 years in compliance or related work, with strong research, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Associates degree with 3 years of experience in a compliance analyst or related role.
• 3+ years in KYC/KYB or fraud detection preferred.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze system-generated alerts and reports to identify potentially suspicious activity.
• Conduct investigations into unusual or suspicious account openings and escape findings appropriately.
• Support ongoing monitoring of customers and accounts for potential money laundering or terrorist financing risks.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of investigations and decisions.
• Assist with periodic KYC/KYB risk assessments and audits.

Part Time Role

Training Hours: 7:00am-3:30pm PSTWorking Hours: 11:30am-3:30pm PST

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze system-generated alerts and reports to identify potentially suspicious activity
• Conduct investigations into unusual or suspicious account openings and escape findings appropriately
• Support ongoing monitoring of customers and accounts for potential money laundering or terrorist financing risks
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of investigations and decisions
• Assist with periodic KYC/KYB risk assessments and audits

Basic Qualifications

• Associates degree and 3 years of experience in a compliance analyst or related role.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate’s degree and 3+ years of experience in KYC/KYB compliance, fraud detection or similar investigative role within financial services
• Proven ability to exercise critical thinking and independent judgment in decision-making processes
• Excellent research and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with sensitive information
• Self-directed, with a high level of initiative and ability to perform in a fast-paced, matrixed environment
• Demonstrated experience and strong understanding of KYC/KYB guidelines

Additional Basic Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of ager or older

Compensation

The compensation range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00 hourly. This position will be eligible for an annual performance incentive plan. The base pay actually offered will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, location, experience and take into account internal equity.
