Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a related field.
• Minimum one year of experience in healthcare enrollment, benefits assistance, social services, case management, or customer service preferred.
• Experience with Medicaid, Medicare, ACA Marketplace, or public benefits programs strongly preferred.
• Bilingual skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients in completing Medicaid applications and redeterminations.
• Support enrollment in Marketplace (ACA), Medicare, and other insurance programs as appropriate.
• Educate clients on eligibility requirements and available options.
• Advocate for clients facing barriers to coverage or access to care.
• Maintain organized records of applications, renewals, verifications, and supporting documentation.
• Stay informed regarding changes to Medicaid, Medicare, Marketplace plans, and other healthcare coverage program.

Job SummaryThe Client Navigator or “Navigator” serves as a key resource for clients seeking assistance with obtaining, maintaining, and understanding health insurance coverage. This will be an essential role for the Resiliency Center and Josselyn as an agency. This position works directly with individuals and families to facilitate applying for Medicaid applications, marketplace enrollment, insurance renewals, eligibility verification, and resolution of coverage barriers.
