Job Description

The Client Manager is the point of day-to-day contact with the client, representing Endava. The candidate will work within the fast-paced and high-growth PEG sector of an international, yet fast-growing digital organization – Endava. PEG works with mid and large cap Private Equity sponsors, and has been delivering projects covering IT DD, portfolio company tech assessments, value creation roadmaps, and exit readiness.

The Client Manager is the point of contact for the client for delivery and commercial issues, working within our delivery team across all projects for that client.

Responsibilities

Project Delivery and Client Engagement

  • Build and run delivery teams of technology and PE experts, ensuring an appropriate level of skill, maturity, and time allocation required to deliver projects at the expected level of professional quality and matching deadlines.
  • Understand investment thesis. Collaborate with the team to define the project technical scope to address key investment objectives.
  • Cultivate new business and relationships with clients, actively participating in promotional activities and industry networking events.
  • Spend significant time face-to-face with clients, ensuring strong engagement and understanding of their needs, forging a client partnership relationship rather than a vendor delivery function.
  • Build personal brand and relationships with senior stakeholders (C-level across business, tech, sales, marketing) within the client portfolio.

Qualifications

Private Equity & Investment Acumen

  • Deep understanding of the private equity lifecycle, including investment evaluation, value creation plans, and technology due diligence.
  • Strong business and investment background with familiarity in P&L ownership and operational value chains.
  • Extensive experience in the private equity and/or M&A sector.

Client-Facing Leadership

  • 5+ years in client-focused roles (e.g., Senior Project Manager, Product Owner, Business Analyst, Account Manager).
  • Proven ability to build and maintain trusted relationships with senior stakeholders in large client organizations.
  • Skilled in contract negotiation and managing commercial relationships.

Technology & Architecture Literacy

  • Background in or exposure to tech-enabled businesses.
  • Foundational understanding of application, data, and infrastructure architectures in enterprise environments.
  • Capable of translating complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for both technical and non-technical audiences.

Consulting Mindset

  • Comfortable developing client-facing materials, applying structured frameworks, and delivering clear recommendations.
  • Proven track record of delivering results and leading cross-functional or technical teams to meet business KPIs.

  • Participation in both internal meetings and external meetings via video calls, as necessary.

  • Prolonged periods of remaining stationary at a desk and working on a computer, as necessary.
  • Ability to bend, kneel, crouch, and reach overhead, as necessary.
  • Hand-eye coordination necessary to operate computers and various pieces of office equipment, as necessary.
  • Vision abilities including close vision, toleration of fluorescent lighting, and adjusting focus, as necessary.
