Job summary

Dream Accounting Advisory LLC is seeking a Client Manager for Client Accounting Services to lead client bookkeeping reviews, coach junior staff, and own client relationships in a fully remote role.

You’ll review financial statements, push statements to clients on schedule, and write SOPs to standardize processes. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential. Experience with CAS is preferred and AI tools are welcome.

Qualifications

• A few years of experience reviewing bookkeeping and financial statements for small businesses.
• Comfortable in a virtual environment with modern accounting tech and AI agents.
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain financial statements clearly.
• Experience coaching junior staff and managing client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Be the direct point of contact for Bookkeeper-tier clients and build trusting relationships.
• Review books prepared by Seniors and Bookkeepers with support from the Senior Bookkeeper.
• Push completed Financial Statements to clients on time and in a clean state.
• Meet with clients to walk through Financial Statements in plain English.
• Coach Bookkeepers daily and assist with tricky calls alongside the Senior Bookkeeper.
• Lead onboarding for new clients joining the Client Accounting Services team.
• Write and maintain SOPs to document workflows and processes.

What You’ll Do

• Serve as the direct point of contact for every Bookkeeper-tier client — building the kind of relationship where they call you first


• Review the books prepared by the Seniors and Bookkeepers on your team, with support from the Senior Bookkeeper


• Push completed Financial Statements out to clients, clean and on schedule


• Meet with bookkeeping clients to walk through their Financial Statements in plain English


• Support and coach Bookkeepers day to day, partnering with the Senior Bookkeeper on trickier calls


• Lead onboarding for new clients joining the Client Accounting Services team


• Write and maintain SOPs, so the way we work lives in documentation — not just in your head

What We’re Looking For

Required:

• A few years of experience reviewing bookkeeping and financial statements for small businesses


• Comfortable working in a virtual environment with modern accounting technology and AI agents


• Strong communication skills — you love explaining financial statements in plain English, not jargon


• Experience reviewing or coaching the work of junior staff


• Organized, self-motivated, and proactive — someone who gets things done without being micromanaged

Preferred:

• Prior experience at a client accounting services (CAS) firm or outsourced accounting shop


• A track record of building or improving SOPs and process documentation


• Experience onboarding new clients from a standing start
