Client Manager- Private Client Group (Personal Lines)

The Opportunity

Based out of the Cockeysville, MD office, this full-time Client Manager position is central to the Personal Lines segment's Private Client Group of Maury, Donnelly, & Parr. This person is responsible for managing and coordinating all team accounts. Ideal experience for this role includes High Net Worth and Recreational Marine account management, along with a comprehensive understanding of Applied Epic procedures.

This position is considered full-time, in-person for the 1st 90 days and then there's opportunity to transition to a hybrid schedule.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manages assigned accounts; analyzes accounts for adequacy and appropriate coverage. Prepares final proposal presentation, analysis and summaries as needed.
  • Reviews endorsements for completion and accuracy.
  • Markets the account and reviews marketing placements.
  • Initiates and follows up on renewal applications.
  • Identifies cross/up selling opportunities. Expands and rounds out existing accounts by identifying potential gaps in coverage, recommending and implementing proper coverage.
  • Responsible for making sure that all the terms and conditions of the insurance policies are properly prepared.
  • Tracks claims, flags claim-heavy accounts and incorrectly written accounts.
  • Responsible for agency billing according to service standard
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's Degree (BA) from four-year college or university, or two to five years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Certificates, licenses and registrations required: active State Property and Casualty Insurance License.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

PAY RANGE
  • $50,000-$75,000

A reasonable estimate of the current range is presented within this posting.
