CLIENT MANAGERSUMMARYThe Client Manager will provide advanced technical servicing of their assigned book of business (new and existing clients) as well as working in conjunction w ith Producers and other team m e mbers. In addition, the Client Manager ma y occasionall y perform in the capacit y of a Client Executive Service for specificall y assigned accounts preparing for and providing rene w al and ne w business presentations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES- Continue to perform all duties of a Client Manager at an above average level analyzing coverages and claims data for ne w and rene w al business.
- Proactivel y prepare rene w al specifications and rough draft proposals.
- Manage the marketing of rene w al business as directed b y Producers.
- Occasionally, prepare experience modification projections using Intellicomp or other available soft w are.
- Revie w accurac y of experience modification calculations published b y state rating agencies/bureaus.
- T i mel y review polic y checking notes fr o m polic y checkers and make corrections to the polic y as necessar y .
- Review issues with Unit Manager and/or Producers as necessar y . As needed, check policies on y our o w n as needed if time allo w s or a rush situation.
- Manage the timel y deliver y of the policies to the client either via email, in person or via online portal.
- Review loss run and claim status reports.
- Occasionally, prepare Loss Summaries and Large Loss Reports.
- Periodic visits to clients with Producers, including active participation in ne w business and rene w al preparation and presentation.
- Assist w ith collections of Accounts Receivables.
- Process and review carrier audits.
- Participate in internal E&O Audits.
- Establish and consistentl y maintain effective and positive w orking relationships with Associates and clients.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE- Bachelor's degree plus 2-3 y ears of dail y World Class Client service is required; or a minim u m o f 3 y ears industr y experience sho w ing increasing responsibilit y directl y related to the performance of the above duties including 2-3 y ears of dail y World Class Client service.
- Maintain a valid unrestricted California Fire & Casualty Solicitors license.
- Advanced insurance designations applicable to the above duties strongl y preferred as w ell as a
willingness to pursue continuing education and professional development.
- Significantl y exceed expectations in existing position if currentl y employed at Marsh & McLennan Agenc y .
- Excellent understanding of insurance terminolog y , the functions of an insurance brokerage agenc y and the various lines of commercial insurance.
- Proficienc y w ith MS Office Software ( Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Prioritize tasks, set and achieve goals, think logicall y in solving problems and present results neatl y , with clarit y and precision in both oral and w ritten form.
WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS- Abilit y to use computer ke y board and sit in a stationar y position for extended periods as w ell as the use of office equipment such as fax and cop y machines, and telephones.
- W o rk is performed in a t y pical interior/office w ork environment.
- Occasional travel to client sites ma y be required.
- Individual shall not pose a direct threat to the health or safet y of other individuals in the w orkplace.
The applicable base salary range for this role is $60,000 to $128,000. The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, and education. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives. The applicable base salary range for this role is $63,100 to $117,500.
The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
