Job summary

Golin Ketchum is seeking an Account Executive, Client Management to join our Corporate Reputation team in a hybrid setup with opportunities across New York and Chicago. You will serve as the day-to-day contact for a large B2B professional services client, coordinating media relations, briefs, and integrated communications activities.

The role requires 2–3 years in a PR agency or similar, strong writing skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications or related field preferred.
• 2–3 years of experience in a public relations agency or similar, with technology, B2B or professional services experience is a plus.
• Detail‑oriented with the ability to multi‑task and manage priorities.
• Proven ability to take initiative and apply critical thinking to assignments.

Responsibilities

• Serve as day-to-day client contact for a large B2B professional services client; foster client‑agency relationships to build trust.
• Plan and implement account activities including media relations, desk‑side briefings, program implementation, and integrated communications best practices.
• Develop a full range of written materials including client correspondence, press releases, media briefing books, media pitches, and executive‑facing reports.
• Research and compile high-quality media lists, trending updates, and industry knowledge relevant to the client’s program.
• Lead account support such as meeting agendas, action items, work back plans, monthly activity reports, and weekly newsletters.
• Develop and monitor program plans; report status to client and agency teams regularly.
• Deepen understanding of client’s business and competitive environment to shape programs and recommendations.
