Job summary

Green & Healthy Homes Initiative (GHHI) is seeking a Client Intake Specialist for our Baltimore office. The role supports enrollment across Maryland programs, coordinates with Housing Intervention and Family Advocacy teams, and ensures timely data entry and documentation for program grants.

The ideal candidate has a public health or service coordination background, strong communication and organizational skills, and a commitment to equitable service delivery.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in public health, Social Work, Business Administration, Human Services or related field.
• Experience in client engagement, coordination, and service delivery with diverse communities.

Responsibilities

• Guide clients through enrollment and application for Maryland programs.
• Maintain an internal tracking system of external resources for Maryland.
• Facilitate connections to environmental health, education, food, and clothing resources.
• Assist clients with applications and compile necessary documentation.
• Coordinate with Housing Intervention and Family Advocacy teams for service delivery.
• Monitor client progress and provide ongoing guidance throughout participation.
• Maintain relationships with state agencies, local health departments, and partners.
• Create communication plans to build client trust and ensure transparency.
• Ensure data collection and data entry for grant reporting and evaluation.
• Support outreach and education activities as needed.
