Qualifications

• Two years of college coursework in Social Work or related field and two years experience in a social or public service environment.
• Two years experience working in a social or public service environment with experience assisting the public, or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Responsibilities

• Conducts pre-screen phone interviews to determine initial eligibility for program enrollment.
• Meets with clients to discuss need and complete required paperwork and collect documents.
• Attends community meetings with agency representatives to educate about the program and make referrals.
• Ensures completion of client applications to determine eligibility and needs.
• Inputs family information into databases and updates records accordingly.

Education

Two years of college coursework from an accredited college or university in Social Work, Behavioral Science, or a related field
