Job summary

Colony Bank in Georgia is seeking a Universal Banker to deliver exceptional customer service, manage everyday transactions, and cross-sell banking services.

You will handle deposits and withdrawals, open accounts, provide notary services, and assist with 24-hour banking while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality. This full-time, non-exempt role rewards diligence, teamwork and a client-first mindset.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Successful completion of Teller school provided by Colony.
• Previous teller experience – required.
• Previous banking experience - preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle a variety of transactions and cross-sell bank services.
• Attend to the needs of customers and prospective customers on banking matters.
• Provide notary public service.
• Perform a variety of related clerical functions such as sorting and wrapping currency and coins.
• Know procedures for using the online terminal system and entry impacts.
• Serve customers in a cordial manner to encourage satisfaction with service.
• Perform miscellaneous duties to assist with department work (24 Hour Banking and night deposit).
• Comply with all laws, regulations, and bank policies.
• Adhere to limited transaction limits and complete required training.
• Other duties as assigned.
