Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking an associate to support tax interviews in Virginia Beach. You will enter client and W-2 data, assemble returns, obtain signatures, and review the finished tax product with clients.

The role requires basic math and reading skills, clear communication, and proficiency with Windows-based software. Additional state/local requirements may apply; duties include other tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Reading and math skills required to begin and finish the tax interview.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person and on the phone.
• Experience with Windows-based computer programs; additional state/local requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the beginning of the tax interview by entering client and W-2 information into the tax program.
• Assist with the closing of the interview by assembling the tax return, obtaining signatures, and reviewing with the client.
• Ensure all H&R Block clients are receiving superior service.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
