Responsibilities

• Manage accounting and tax compliance for a portfolio of individual and business clients.
• Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for various entity types (individuals, partnerships, corporations, S corporations).
• Compile and review financial statements for closely held businesses.
• Conduct tax research and analyze technical accounting/tax issues.
• Assist clients with year-end planning, tax projections, and other financial matters.
• Identify tax-saving opportunities, compliance issues, and accounting concerns.
• Communicate directly with clients to gather information, resolve discrepancies, and provide accounting/tax guidance.
• Maintain accurate workpapers and supporting documentation for all engagements.
• Collaborate with other accounting professionals to ensure deadlines and quality standards are achieved.
