Job summary

TalentWealth Recruiting is seeking an experienced Certified Financial Planner for a Florida-based independent practice in Lutz. The role emphasizes relationship management and comprehensive financial plan discussions with an existing client base.

You will engage in planning, investment reviews, and presenting new strategies while supporting Senior Advisors. Competitive base salary with bonus, full benefits, profit sharing, 401k match, and PTO are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• FINRA Series 7 and 66 highly preferred.
• Experience with goals-based planning software (eMoney, MoneyGuidePro).
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, and listening skills.
• Ability to understand and explain sophisticated financial concepts and issues.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented, accurate, organized, able to set priorities, self-starter.
• Financial planning/wealth management acumen, judgment, and experience.
• Passionate about doing what is best for clients and limiting conflicts in the industry.
• Team player, collaborative, able to work with and through others.
• Desire/ability to work successfully in a small company environment.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial planning, asset allocation, and investment performance reports for client meetings.
• Handle client review meetings and presenting of new financial plans to clients.
• Attend client meetings and eventually run meetings on their own.
• Assist in the execution of client recommendations.
• Assist the Senior Advisors in evaluating client financial strategies and decisions by conducting financial analyses on a wide range of investment, tax, estate, and financial planning topics.
