TalentWealth Recruiting represents a well-established independent wealth management practice in Bedminster, NJ, seeking an experienced Certified Financial Planner to deepen client relationships and lead financial plan discussions.

The role emphasizes relationship management, preparation of planning materials, and presenting plans to clients, with a competitive base salary plus bonus, full benefits, profit sharing, 401k match, and PTO.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• FINRA series 7 and 66 highly required.
• Experience with goals-based planning software (e.g. eMoney, MoneyGuidePro).
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, and listening skills.
• Ability to understand and explain sophisticated financial concepts and issues.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented, accurate, organized, able to set priorities, self-starter.
• Financial planning/wealth management acumen, judgment, and experience.
• Passionate about doing what is best for clients and limiting conflicts inherent in the broader industry.
• Team player, collaborative, able to work with and through others.
• Desire/ability to work successfully in a small company environment.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial planning, asset allocation, and investment performance reports for client meetings.
• Handle client review meetings and presenting of new financial plans to clients.
• Attend client meetings and eventually run meetings on their own.
• Assist in the execution of client recommendations.
• Assist the Senior Advisors in evaluating client financial strategies and decisions by conducting financial analyses on a wide range of investment, tax, estate, and financial planning topics.
