Job summary

Ozona Bank is seeking a full-time Financial Services Representative to serve customers as a teller and assist with opening deposit accounts, CDs, and safe deposit boxes. The role includes processing deposits, withdrawals, checks, loan payments, and related customer inquiries while ensuring accuracy and privacy compliance.

Responsibilities include maintaining cash drawer limits, preparing documentation for new accounts, and guiding customers on bank products.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year cash handling or sales experience and one year customer service experience.
• Strong verbal and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to use office equipment such as computer, calculator, copier and fax machine.

Responsibilities

• Process checking and savings deposits and withdrawals according to teller procedures.
• Process check cashing requests according to teller procedures.
• Answer basic inquiries regarding interest rates, service charges, and account histories with disclosure requirements and privacy policies.
• Count and roll loose coins.
• Refer customers to the proper department for issues not resolved at the teller line.
• Issue cashier's checks and accept loan payments.
• Maintain cash drawer limits and currency logs as per policy.
• Balance cash drawer daily and prepare required reports.
• Explain product details for all deposit accounts to customers.
• Listen to customer issues and cross-sell bank products and solutions.
