Job summary

Country Bank is seeking a Banking Center Specialist to deliver exceptional customer experiences and support end-to-end banking interactions. You will open accounts, handle deposits and loans, and manage cash with accuracy within a collaborative Retail Banking team.

The role requires a high school diploma and at least one year of customer service or sales experience. Notary Public license and NMLS registration are required eventually; Spanish language skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of one year of customer service or sales experience.
• Must acquire and maintain a Notary Public license and active NMLS registration.

Responsibilities

• Identifies and pursues opportunities to build and deepen customer relationships through listening and engagement.
• Takes ownership of customer requests to ensure end-to-end satisfaction and involves referral partners as needed.
• Opens consumer, business, and retirement accounts with proper identification and agreements.
• Manages account servicing requests including address changes, card issuance, online banking setup, and fraud resolution.
• Processes deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, transfers, and foreign currency orders; balances cash box daily.
• Originates and closes home equity lines of credit and consumer loans.
• Upholds bank procedures for daily banking center operations and promotes the Country Bank experience.
• Maintains knowledge of applicable laws and participates in community events to generate new business opportunities.
