The Relationship Banker at Busey in Peoria, IL combines teller duties with relationship-building, delivering personalized service, handling transactions, and cross-selling bank products. You will open new accounts, assist with online banking, and support customers across cash handling and account maintenance.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School diploma.
• Requires previous banking and/or sales experience.
• Pursuant to SAFE Act, Relationship Bankers must maintain current NMLS registration if lending.
• Requires knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage customers to build lasting relationships and provide exceptional service.
• Identify customer needs and offer solutions through bank products and services.
• Develop and maintain relationships through personalized service and proactive outreach.
• Open and manage a variety of accounts; assist with maintenance and online banking support.
• Refer clients with credit needs to appropriate bankers or lines of business.
• Process transactions with accuracy and balance cash drawer at shift end.
• Adhere to bank policies and regulatory requirements; protect customer information.
