Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Accounting or Finance
• 1+ years of accounting experience, combination of industry and public accounting preferred
• Knowledge of GAAP and general accounting principles
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Strong communication skills with clients and staff
• Ability to work with executive/senior staff and clients
• Fluency with multiple ERP systems and adaptability to new software
• Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting tasks including entering transactions and reconciling accounts for multiple clients
• Prepare account reconciliations and journal entries for month-end/year-end closes
• Coordinate with external payroll providers for payroll processing
• Maintain clients’ general ledgers with accuracy and completeness
• Ensure GAAP compliance and support tax filing coordination
• Identify process improvements for internal and client workflows
• Handle confidential financial data with discretion
• Support onboarding of new clients and cleanup of legacy records
