Job summary

Find Great People | FGP in Greenville, SC is seeking a Staff Accountant to join a growing team on a full-time, permanent basis. The ideal candidate will have 1+ years of general accounting experience and a growth mindset.

You will perform daily accounting tasks, prepare reconciliations, assist with journal entries and reporting, support GAAP compliance, and help onboard clients while handling data with discretion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
• 1+ year of general accounting experience.
• Experience with Multi Client work is STRONGLY preferred!!

Responsibilities

• Perform daily accounting tasks including transaction entry, expense coding, and account reconciliations
• Prepare account reconciliations and journal entries to support timely and accurate month-end and year-end closes
• Assist in preparing journal entries and basic financial reports
• Help maintain clients’ general ledgers, ensuring completeness and accuracy of financial data
• Support compliance with GAAP and assist with tax filing coordination
• Contribute to process improvements and assist with onboarding new clients or data cleanup as needed
• Handle sensitive financial data with discretion and maintain a high level of confidentiality

Education

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
