Job summary

Homebound is seeking an Interior Designer to join the Design Studio, focusing on Dallas–Fort Worth markets. You will partner with the Director of Design + Operations, develop design packages, and collaborate across Architecture, Sales, Procurement, Construction, and Tech to deliver personalized home plans.

You will work directly with homeowners on personalization and upgrades, including on-site meetings with the Construction team, and contribute to a cohesive design library aligned with market

Qualifications

• 4–6+ years of interior design experience in homebuilder or design studio.
• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or related field.
• Experience leading client meetings and selecting interior finishes.
• Proficiency with design software including Bluebeam, Revit/AutoCAD, Photoshop or InDesign.

Responsibilities

• Develop design packages and personalization options for homes in Dallas–Fort Worth markets.
• Collaborate with Sales and Procurement to meet budgets and styling goals.
• Present mood boards, specs, renderings, and samples to clients—virtually and on-site.
• Load products in the software platform and support client-facing checkout.
• Redline interior and cabinet drawings in Bluebeam for construction updates.
• Maintain project files and manage the Homebound Material Catalog.
• Travel to market sites for research and site visits as needed.
• Meet design Studio metrics and align with performance standards.
