Job summary

The Bachrach Group in New York is seeking a Quantitative Analyst to collaborate with traders, quants and software engineers on interdisciplinary teams. You will liaise between Quant Researchers and clients and solve client problems using Python to address issues with the trading platform.

Responsibilities include developing tools for optimal trading behavior, post-trade analysis, and close collaboration with clients. A strong quantitative background and programming skills are essential.

Qualifications

  • BS degree in Science, Math, Engineering, Economics or other quantitative field from a top school.
  • History of diverse, challenging coursework with a strong GPA.
  • Exceptional quantitative, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Great communication and collaboration with peers.
  • Programming skills: Python; Pandas and SQL; C++ is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a liaison between Quantitative Researchers and clients.
  • Work with clients on problem solving, including using Python to address issues with the trading platform.
  • Develop tools and using tools to ensure optimal trading behavior.
  • Post trade analysis to optimize bilateral trading relationships.
  • Work closely with clients as necessary.
