Job summary

Alliant Insurance Services in Dayton, OH seeks an Account Manager to handle assigned accounts from renewals to daily servicing. This client-facing role requires deep insurance knowledge, strong communication, and the ability to work independently while ensuring policy accuracy and timely reporting.

The AM builds renewal strategies, analyzes exposures, and supports client retention and growth. A license and ongoing CE are required for license renewal.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
• 4+ years related work experience in insurance brokerage or client management.
• Valid Insurance License required.
• Continuing Education requirements for license renewal.
• Strong knowledge of policy coverages, renewals, and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Initiates renewal process for existing clients and discusses renewal strategy with manager.
• Analyzes exposures and follows renewal or marketing procedures to secure business.
• Produces and reviews reports, quotes, and coverage documents for accuracy.
• Reviews policies for accuracy and reviews contracts with clients.
• Prepares summaries or schedules of coverage for clients.
• Mentors staff and provides technical guidance on client needs.
