Job summary

S27a is seeking a Forward-Deployed Engineer in Boston who will work directly with clients to design and build end-to-end data-driven upgrade solutions on top of our core platform. You’ll balance frontend and backend work while translating client needs into concrete technical plans.

In this role you’ll own customer-facing features from scope to production, collaborating with non-technical stakeholders to ensure successful delivery and measurable impact on building upgrades and energy efficiency.

Qualifications

• CS degree or equivalent experience is required.
• Experience building full-stack web apps with Python and a modern JS framework.
• Ability to translate ambiguous client requirements into technical scope.
• Strong communication with non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Work with clients to understand needs and design solutions on top of the Upgrail core.
• Ship production-ready code end-to-end.
• Own customer-facing features from scope to delivery.
