Job summary

Compliance Management International (CMI) seeks an Environmental Specialist to navigate environmental regulations across air, water, and waste programs. You will prepare permits, perform analyses, develop compliance plans, and deliver impactful training for clients. A proactive problem-solver who thrives on multi-project delivery and direct client interaction will excel.

The role requires a B.S. in Engineering or Environmental Science, strong communication, and travel up to 50%

Qualifications

BS degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field.
1+ years of relevant coursework or work experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong project management and organizational abilities.
Ready to travel locally and regionally.

Responsibilities

Prepare regulatory permit applications (air, stormwater, wastewater, hazardous waste).
Support ongoing compliance through emissions calculations, reporting, and tracking.
Conduct EPCRA reporting (Tier II, TRI).
Prepare technical documents and training materials for clients.
Perform regulatory research and technical calculations.
Deliver employee and supervisory training programs.
Serve as technical lead and client-facing representative.
